Physical Therapy Fraud Draws 3-Year Sentence and Near $3M Restitution

A Michigan physical therapist will serve 3 years in prison and pay $2.87 million in restitution for his part in a conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud. Solomon Nathaniel and co-conspirator Suresh Chand fraudulently billed Medicare for physical therapy services that were never performed — says DoJ — in direct violation of the Medicare regulations governing physical therapy,
