Request for Budget Increase to Fight Health Care Fraud

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is asking for a $60.2 million budget increase to fight health care fraud. The funds would go to improve DoJ investigations and litigation, as well as add resources to the Health Care Fraud and Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) initiative.
